Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The bodies of ten missing individuals (all Moroccans) have been found on beaches stretching from Skhirat to Casablanca.

28 individuals, mostly young people, including one little girl, passed away following their boat capsizing on the night of Eid al-Fitr.

Despite being widely recognized as the most dangerous and hazardous illegal migration route globally, many immigrants still attempt to cross the treacherous waters of the Atlantic from time to time, risking their lives in the process.

The migrants used this route to avoid attracting attention, a family member of one of the victims said.

However, the boat did not reach its destination and remained missing until the sea started washing their bodies.

The families of the victims that have washed ashore are preparing funerals for their loved ones, while others still wait in despair for news of their missing relatives.
