Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Guinea has reiterated its support for the Kingdom of Morocco’s territorial integrity and its proposed autonomy plan for Western Sahara.
This news comes after a meeting between the foreign ministers of Guinea and Morocco aimed at boosting ties between the two countries.
Guinea praised King Mohammed VI’s efforts towards promoting peace and development in Africa.
Both countries expressed their commitment to finding a realistic and sustainable solution to the long-standing conflict in Western Sahara through the UN-led political process.
Morocco has also pledged its support to Guinea’s efforts to establish democratic institutions and achieve peace, prosperity and development in the country.
