Hexcel Invests $286 Million in Moroccan Factory Expansion

Casablanca, Morocco (TMT)- US-based company, Hexcel, inaugurated an expansion of its specialized factory in Nouaceur on Wednesday.

The factory produces composite equipment for aircraft structures, engine blades, and helicopter blades.

The expansion, worth an investment of up to 286 million dirhams, will double the factory’s total area and diversify and secure the supply chain globally. It is expected to employ 400 workers by 2026.

The group is committed to achieving carbon-free production and plans to install solar panels on the site, covering more than 20% of the factory’s annual electricity consumption.
