Law Enforcement Officer Assaults FGD Leader, Resulting in Broken Arm

Mustapha Zoubdi suffered a broken arm following the assault.

Amid a protest organized by the Social Front in Temara, Mustapha Zoubdi, a leader of the Left Democratic Federation political coalition was assaulted by a law enforcement officer.

As a result of the attack, the leader suffered a broken hand. The event occurred shortly after the protest.

The party said in a statement that the law enforcement officer had previously threatened the leader during the demonstration, indicating a possible motive for the assault.

The protest was organized to express condemnation of the forced eviction of residents from shanty houses.

The FGD said it “unequivocally condemns this incident and calls for a thorough investigation by the judicial authorities.”
