King Mohammed VI congratulated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on his re-election as President of the Republic of Turkey following the second round of elections held last Sunday.
In a telegram, the King expressed his “warm congratulations” to President Erdogan, wishing him “every success in continuing to lead the Turkish people towards further progress and prosperity.”
The King’s telegram stated, “I congratulate Your Excellency on this renewed trust, and I cannot fail to express my utmost satisfaction with the high level reached by the constructive cooperation between our two countries, thanks to our mutual commitment to enhancing and advancing it in various fields.”
