The Supreme Council of the Judicial Power recently hosted a seminar on digitization and information dissemination strategies at the International Book and Publishing Fair. Council member, Ahmed Al-Ghazali, underscored the pivotal role of digitization in combating corruption and bolstering efficiency within the judiciary.

The council has unveiled a strategic roadmap for the period of 2021-2026, which consists of 23 targeted measures. The goals include strengthening relations with judges, augmenting security protocols within the judiciary, enhancing the quality of judgments, and facilitating effective communication with litigants.

In alignment with these objectives, several key steps have been taken, such as the creation of a dedicated website for judge elections. This platform centralizes and streamlines information pertaining to the election process. Additionally, a secure online space exclusively for judges has been set up, protecting sensitive information while fostering a conducive environment for communication and collaboration.

To promote better engagement with professional associations, a digital communication platform has been launched. The goal of this platform is to enable more effective information sharing and foster cooperation among legal professionals.

In an effort to manage administrative aspects of judges’ work more effectively, the council has rolled out a system that prioritizes transparency. This includes the publication of disciplinary decisions to uphold judicial accountability and integrity.

Reflecting its commitment to information dissemination, the council’s website now hosts a vast repository of thousands of accessible judicial rulings. This initiative aligns with the council’s goal of making legal resources available to the wider public.

Furthermore, the council has incorporated linguistic diversity into its digital platforms to ensure effective communication of legal and judicial information. This includes the translation of vital resources into multiple languages, thereby enhancing accessibility and understanding for a diverse audience.

These concerted efforts towards digitization and information dissemination represent a significant move by the Supreme Council of the Judicial Power towards increased transparency, efficiency, and inclusivity within the judiciary.
