British MP Fox Endorses Morocco’s Sahara Conflict Solution

RABAT- British MP Liam Fox, in Rabat on Wednesday, affirmed the autonomy plan submitted by Morocco in 2007 as the “only possible option” to resolve the ongoing conflict over Western Sahara.

Following talks with Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, Fox emphasized the need for a practical solution that prioritizes the people of the region and their quality of life.

As politicians, Fox asserted, their primary responsibility is to guarantee safety and uphold living standards for citizens.

Morocco’s autonomy plan proposal for Western Sahara has garnered significant support from numerous countries including Spain, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Cyprus, Luxembourg, Hungary, Romania, Portugal, and Serbia.
