National Security authorities are leading an important campaign, especially in Nador, Al Hoceima, Tangier and Tetouan, in search of luxury cars that were stolen from different European countries and smuggled to the Kingdom in high secrecy.
According to Nador City news outlet’s sources, Morocco has received information from the Interpol, which indicate that a large number of luxury cars were sneaked into Moroccan soil, especially Four-Wheel Drive cars such as “Range Rover”, “Porsche Cayenne” and other “Mercedes” and “BMW” cars.
Following such information, control was tightened on the level of Motor Vehicle Registration Offices that collaborate with car smuggling mafias, by helping them acquire documents in exchange for money.
