As reported by news outlet Mountakhab, Ayoub El Khaliqui’s contract with Wydad Casablanca has expired and he is free to choose his next destination.
The same source states that El Khaliqui, 27, is in the good books of champions Moghreb Tetuan and Rabat club AS FAR as both clubs are interested in signing him. Also, it is rumored that a couple of Portuguese clubs are chasing him.
The offensive right-back is a reference in Botola Pro 1 which has enabled him to play 5 matches at international level with Morocco. Last season alone, he bagged three goals in 23 appearances with the club from Casablanca.
The Moroccan international is currently studying all offers before making a decision. At this point, no one can predict his future club since he recently said that he would not be against a challenge in a foreign country.
