Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Justice and Development party issued a statement (featured image) where it condemned fraud practices perpetrated by Morocco’s Ministry of Interior aids during today’s elections.
According to the statement, released two hours before the end of the election, various agents of the Moroccan Ministry of Interior were seen “dropping multiple sheets of paper into ballot boxes,” and in other instances they (local aids) “were witnessed putting undue pressure on voters so that they vote a particular way.”
The communiqué asked the Ministry of interior to urgently intervene to halt such practices that undermine the credibility of Morocco’s institutions.
