Fes, Morocco (TMT)- Al Istiqlal party’s Abdelkader el Kihal said yesterday while featuring in “Milaf li Nikach” show on Medi1TV, that his party did not fail in the last parliamentary elections, even though they won 46 parliamentarian seats, 14 seats down from the 2011 elections.

“Those who failed are those who failed the elections, meaning the establishment [He used the Arabic world Sulta],” el Kihal stressed.

El Kihal said that the establishment took by force seats traditionally belonging to Al Istiqlal, offering them to “a well-known party,” hinting to the PAM party.

El Kihal blamed Morocco’s Ministry of interior’s aids for supporting the PAM party.

“In one instance, a Kaid stopped one of our candidates, apparently he did not recognize her, and asked her to vote for that party [PAM],” El Kihal added.
