Sports news outlet Kooora reports that Salaheddine Saidi, a player many Botola clubs were chasing and notably Raja Casablanca, was lured in by Wydad Athtletic Club.
The Moroccan international, 9 caps, played in Dubai SCS (UAE League) in the second half of last season joining them from FAR Rabat. The defensive midfielder had to terminate his contract with Dubai SCS before joining Wydad.
Saidi, 27, has settled for a two year contract with WAC where financial details were not disclosed. This is Wydad’s fifth signing after Yassine El Kourdi, Abdellatif Noussair, Bilal Assoufi, and Brahim Nekkach.
