According to a recent study conducted by the American Center for Research “Gallup”, Morocco turned out to be the only country in the MENA region with a positive economic confidence index of (+20), higher than the world average (+11).
Gallup study is based on opinions poll, in which citizens answer questions about the current state of their countries’ economy and their perceptions in regards to the change made in comparison with previous years.
The same study shows that Lebanon and Egypt have the lowest index of economic confidence in the region, (-71) and (-70) respectively followed by Syria (-54).
