Rabat, Morocco- According to the 2014 MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index, Casablanca is the 5th most popular destination city in Africa with a total number of international visitors that amounts to 989,219 and a visitor spend of $737 million(US$).
The 13 African cities ranked in the 2014 MasterCard Global Destination Cities Index are: Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, Cairo, Casablanca, Accra, Nairobi, Beira, Dakar, Kampala, Lagos, Maputo and Tunis.
