Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The secretary-general of the Unified Socialist Party (well known under its French acronym PSU), Nabila Mounib said yesterday in the wake of a party rally in Errachidia that the “PJD is expected to win” the upcoming parliamentarian elections, to be held on the 7th of October.

“The PJD will lure votes because it has a strong support from the populace,” Mounib said.

“The PAM party will also get votes, but chiefly because it is supported by the state,” Mounib stressed.

Regarding the Democratic Left Federation (FGD), a coalition of three left-wing parties which also include Nabila Mounib’s PSU, Morocco’s ironwoman said, “the FGD will create a good surprise.”

Mounib seized the opportunity once again to stress that the FGD is calling for the establishment of a parliamentary monarchy, “to have a real democracy in Morocco.”

Mounib stressed that the FGD won’t make any alliances with “administrative parties” as they are “not independent in their decision making,” further stressing that such parties “do not have a society project for Morocco.”
