Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- A Laarache-based company specializing in exporting fish products, especially canned sardines, from Morocco to various countries around the world has seen 70 of its employees contract COVID-19.

The news was relayed in a story on Moroccan paper Akhbar Al Yaoum.

According to said source, “COVID-19 spread like wildfire in the company.”

The authorities were not able to detect it earlier, which lead to the infection of this relatively huge number of workers.

An administrative officer also contracted the novel coronavirus, Akhbar Al Yaoum reports.
