Fes, Morocco (TMT)- The death of a 40-year-old Moroccan soldier from COVID-19 has triggered concerns over the spread of the virus among all military personnel of the Dhar Lmahraze military base, in Fez, Morocco.
The late, who had underlying health conditions, was admitted quite late to a local hospital after he thought he only had a fever.
Such scenarios are a ticking time-bomb, as COVID-19 could spread like wildfire.
The Moroccan authorities have now tested more than 400 military personnel in the aforementioned military base, in a bet to avoid a similar situation to the local prison of Ouarzazate, which saw a huge number of its inmates contract the secret killer.
