Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan Head of government Elothmani said in an interview with state TV Al Aoula last Thursday that Morocco’s intensive respiratory care capacity is far away from getting overwhelmed as “currently only 20 COVID-19 patients need it.”

Morocco had initially 1640 intensive respiratory care beds, but it doubled down the figure in mid-March.

The head of the Moroccan government, Othmani Saadedine, also said “that 30 people are under the normal intensive care unit (not the respiratory one).”
