Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The number of Moroccan kids infected with COVID-19 surged from 391 to 546, according to a tally combined by the Moroccan Ministry of Health.
Dr. Mohamed Lyoubi, the head of the epidemiology department at the Moroccan Ministry of Health said during yesterday’s press conference “that 546 Moroccan kid contracted COVID-19 across the kingdom.”
“This represents 9% of all COVID-19 infection cases recorded in Morocco,” Lyoubi added.
Lyoubi noted that in terms of the number of deaths, only one case was registered, that of a 17 months-old baby in Oujda.
