Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The General Delegation for Prison Administration and Rehabilitation has declared that prisoners will be permitted to receive food baskets from their families amid the Eid al-Fitr holiday.
This special allowance has been granted to acknowledge the positive impact Eid Day has on prisoners’ morale and to enhance the relationship between prisoners and their families.
Diplomatic and consular representatives are also permitted to bring food baskets for foreign prisoners during their visits.
The prison administration will provide all necessary support to enable prisoners to contact their families and inform them about the allotted time and conditions for bringing the food baskets.
The Delegation urges the families of prisoners to participate responsibly and effectively to ensure the success of this process.
