Tangier, Morocco (TMT)- A 20-year-old Turkish citizen was arrested in Tangier by the police on Tuesday, based on an international arrest warrant issued by the Danish judicial authorities.
He is suspected of intentionally attempting to commit murder in Denmark.
The Interpol database showed that he was a subject of a red notice requested by the Danish Central National Bureau.
He is currently under police custody in Tangier and waiting to be presented to the appropriate judicial authorities for extradition proceedings in accordance with national laws and international agreements.
