Casablanca, Morocco (TMT)- According to a report by the United States Congress, Morocco has signed military deals with Israel that include air defense systems.

The report states that Morocco acquired intercepting missile systems of type BARAK MX air defense, with a range of 35 to 150 kilometers, and the short/medium-range SPYDER system, with a range of 20 to 80 kilometers.

The report explains that the BARAK MX defense system, which is a sophisticated air defense system developed by IAI, was designed to meet Israel’s strict requirements and is a critical element in the air defense network.

The unique intercepting structure of the BARAK system enables notable speed and maneuverability, which increases the targeted no-escape zone and the probability of killing (Pk).
