Protecting Children’s Rights in Morocco: 70 Complaints Received in 2022

Tanger, Morocco (TMT)- The National Human Rights Council in Morocco received a total of 3,245 complaints and requests last year, including 1,233 complaints received by the Council’s central services and 1,895 received by its regional committees.

There were also 70 complaints regarding child victims of human rights violations and 47 complaints regarding the rights of persons with disabilities.

The Council reported an increase of 7.52% in the number of complaints received compared to the previous year.
