Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Moroccan parliament member, Ismail El Alaoui, from the Socialist Party, has called on the government to address the challenges facing the e-commerce industry, including the imposition of fees on imported goods. He emphasized the importance of protecting the rights of traders and customers and the significant role of e-commerce in absorbing a large number of Moroccan youth into the workforce.
In the midst of several pressing issues, including a high inflation rate, a severe drought season, and a notable increase in youth unemployment, El Alawi highlighted the significance of the e-commerce industry as a means of creating employment opportunities for young people.
