Casablanca, Morocco (TMT)- The Professional Association of Cement Manufacturers has revealed that cement sales exceeded 3.96 million tons at the end of last April, a decrease of 8.46% compared to the same period in 2022.
According to data released by members of the association (Ciments de Témara, Ciments de l’Atlas, Ciments du Maroc, and LafargeHolcim Maroc), cement sales in April alone totaled 716,483 tons, compared to 902,513 tons during the same period in 2022, a decrease of 20.61%.
It should be noted that cumulative cement sales at the end of March 2023 exceeded 3.24 million tons, a decrease of 5.26% compared to the same period in 2022.
