Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- Government officials in Morocco said they are suspending all public transportation between cities to combat the coronavirus outbreak in the kingdom.

This includes taxis, buses, and trains.

The decision will start to take effect Tuesday at 1 am, for an unlimited period of time.

Officials are also asking citizens not to leave the city unless they are issued an authorization for that matter.

Officials are also saying that harsh punitive measures will be taken against people who fail to observe the measure.
