Morocco: 130 offenses related to price-gouging during Ramadan

Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan authorities said 130 offenses related to price-gouging merchandise during the first 5 days of the holy month of Ramadan have been registered in Morocco.

The authorities also said 16 tons of spoiled goods were confiscated and destroyed, products that include fish, poultry, juices, among others.

The Moroccan authorities also said its border protection units have refused the entry to the Moroccan territory of 450 tons of products that did not fit health standards.
