Royal Air Maroc outlines decade-long expansion, including a doubled fleet, 6.2 million summer seats, and new routes to European cities.

Royal Air Maroc (RAM) is embarking on an ambitious journey to bolster its position in the airline industry with a comprehensive expansion plan over the next decade. RAM’s CEO, Abdelhamid Addou, made the announcement during a recent meeting with the Infrastructure, Energy, Mines, and Environment Commission.

Central to this ambitious project is the plan to double the airline’s fleet. This development would further establish RAM’s presence in Africa and solidify its role as an international player prioritizing customer-centric services.

To kick-start the expansion, RAM has planned to rent six new-generation aircraft for the upcoming summer season, in a bid to cater to its increasing passenger volume. The airline’s summer offer will consist of an impressive 6.2 million seats across 90 global destinations. These destinations will span Europe, North America, Africa, and the Middle East, reflecting RAM’s global reach and commitment to its customers.

Moreover, RAM has announced a significant boost in flights to Europe, including the introduction of three new routes from Tangier to Madrid, Barcelona, and London.

In addition to these, a new connection from Oujda to Dusseldorf will also be inaugurated.

These additions will significantly enhance the European connectivity of Moroccan cities, fostering better international relations and boosting tourism.

The airline has also revealed plans to schedule two daily flights on routes from Casablanca to several European cities.
