Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The second match of the African Handball Club Champions Cup’s first round, featuring Shabab Kinshasa from Congo and Widad Smara from Morocco, was called off due to Shabab Kinshasa’s failure to arrive at the stadium on time. Consequently, the organizing committee awarded Widad Smara a victory.

As per reports, the team did not show up because the players were still sleeping.

It’s worth noting that Shabab Kinshasa had won the bronze medal in the African Super Cup, although they had lost to Zamalek in the semi-finals.
