Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- The Moroccan government official spokesperson, Mustafa Baitas, reiterated what the Moroccan PM said a few days ago, that Morocco has no objections to the importation of Russian gasoil.
He said that the only difficulties in this process are primarily related to obtaining banking support.
Although sanctions have been imposed on Russia by several major countries in response to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, Baitas emphasized that “there are no actual impediments to importing Russian gasoil.”
He further explained that Morocco has imported varying quantities of gasoil from Russia in recent years.
