Rabat, Morocco (TMT)- In an interview given to Moroccan paper Akhbar Al Yaoum, the Moroccan Minister of Communication and Government spokesman, Mr. Mustapha Khalfi said that “Ban Ki-moon agreed he would apologize to Morocco during his meeting with the Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Mezouar in New York last week, but the Secretary-General of the United Nations came out and declared the opposite of what was agreed.”

The Moroccan minister told the leading Moroccan paper that “many foreign countries are very comprehensive vis-à-vis Morocco’s decisions in the wake of Ban Ki-moon’s deviations,” further stressing that “Morocco is greatly satisfied with how the Security Council dealt with the matter.”
